Massage therapist Jeff Bassman at Shire Wellness

Meet Jeff

Founded by Jeff Bassman, a licensed massage therapist, certified yoga instructor and Reiki master, Shire Wellness offers massage therapy, assisted stretching and Reiki as individual services, along with combined sessions tailored to your needs.

Jeff takes a practical, intuitive approach focused on reducing tension, improving mobility and restoring balance. Former clients may recognize him from Massage Envy in Edgewater, where he helped clients address pain, stress and mobility concerns before launching Shire Wellness.

​

Today, Jeff divides his time between Shire Wellness and Gaia’s Cavern, a boutique wellness spa in Jersey City, continuing to work with clients seeking therapeutic bodywork and holistic wellness services.

​

Each session is shaped around what your body needs that day. There is no set routine and no two sessions are exactly the same.

First-time clients can choose a customized 60-minute massage for $90. Choose Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage or a blended approach based on what your body needs.
